  I attended classes back there when it was still a Junior High (7th thru 9th). It was rumored that there was once a pool on top of the gym (hence the bubble top on top of the gym). Does anyone know if this is in fact true or not? I thought so at first, but now that I think about it, that idea seems crazy.

  That's funny. I also attended Slater back when it was 7th thru 9th, and we were convinced there was a pool on the gym roof. I remember asking the coach if it was true, and he wouldn't confirm or deny it.
