Bear Sanctuary Prishtina was founded by the global animal welfare organisation Four Paws in 2013 and is located 20 kilometres from Prishtina near the village Mramor. The land allocated for Bear Sanctuary Prishtina by the Municipality of Prishtina has an area of 16 ha. Currently the built-up area is ca. 10 ha and includes seven large open air rehabilitation enclosures for bears that each have pools, dens, fresh water, enrichment, and big a bear house (technical facility.)

Bear Sanctuary Prishtina is open for visitors from the months of February until December. Visitors can take walks through the sanctuary, see bears in their natural environment, and learn more about the species and other animal welfare/nature protection topics. Guided tours are available as well.
