  • The village named as per the name of Lod Shiv (nateswar.Earlier the village was under Bangurigaon Gram Panchayat.In 2002 Nasikeswar Panchayat separated from Bangurigaon.Total Population of the village are nearly 2000,The village got a goot name in puri district due to well education.Mr Agadhu Charan Kar (Techer) is first sarapanch of Nasikeswar Panchayat.From 1990-2000 there was a very good volle ball team, which was won many tournemnts inside puri district as well as the near by areas of Cuttack district.Every year the pepole celebrates in a great pleasure DOLYATRA,HOLY,MAHASTMI,RAM NAVMI and Bhagabat path.

There is a shortcut route to Astranga from Nasikeswar, which in future will connected with Konark for Business purposes. Nasikeswar have one of the oldest primary school (1905) in Puri district as well as in Orissa.
