Marathon Pulp Inc. is a Kraft Mill located in Marathon Ontario.
As of 2000 Marathon Pulp Inc. is owned by Tembec Inc. and Kruger. the mill produces 186,000 tonnes of northern bleached softwood kraft pulp a year and employs 300 people. The mill produced its first bale of pulp in 1946 and has been extensively upgraded and modernized over the year. Closed in 2009 with a loss of 240 jobs. The buildings were demolished in 2015.
Marathon Pulp is Forestry Stewardship Council and ISO Certified.
