Qeqertarsuaq, also known as Herbert Island (the name Qeqertarsuaq simply means Big Island, and is used for several islands in Greenland) is an island Qaanaaq (Thule) in the Qaasuitsup municipality. This is also the name of an abandoned fishing village on the island. The island has an area of 223 km2. It is adjacent to Northumberland Island.
