This was an Albertsons until March 2015 and rebranded soon after as Haggen Food & Pharmacy within a few days. It was the very first Haggen in Southern California and the very first comprising the Pacific Southwest division. In less than 9 months, however, Haggen was out of business. Gelson's, an upscale Southern California supermarket, opened here February 2016, the third banner in less than a year.
