Single-arch masonry road bridge, built c.1800, carrying road over a tributrary of the River Camcor in the foothills of the Slieve Bloom mountains. Segmental profile arch.
Aghagurty Bridge is located on the foothills of the Slieve Bloom Mountains, a picturesque part of County Offaly. The bridge spans a deep valley of one of the many streams running down from the mountains. It is well executed and detailed. As part of the historic infrastructure of the area, this bridge is of architectural heritage significance.
