The state-of-the-art auditorium was to be constructed at the cost of Rs 33.60 crore with a seating capacity of 2,000 persons, almost 900 more than existing biggest auditorium Vasantrao Deshpande Hall.The two-storied auditorium is coming up in a sprawling 14,842.43 sq.mt and situated on one end of the Reshimbagh ground. The auditorium constructed on the first floor comprising 1,400 seats at the lower level and 600 seats in balcony. The stage will be of 25 mt width covering 300 sq.mt area.President of India Honerable Shri Ram Nath Kovind shall dedicate the auditorium to public on September 22nd, 2017.
