Surin Beach is a famous beach 24 kilometers away from Phuket Town. To get there from Phuket Town, take the 402 on the Monument to the left and then another 12 km. Surin beach is not considered ideal for swimming. The steep decline of the beach sand and strong currents can be a dangerous mix. During the monsoon winds wave are constant.
