This is a little beautiful village of
Hatadihi block which belongs to Keonjhar district of Orissa.
Nature allows here to enjoy her beauty. A pond of larger dimension adds a value to the beauty show. This has a good position in the litrary map of present India. The educated villagers are simple and basically depend on the cultivation. Most of the family heads are state govt. teachers. A handful of the youth are serving the country being held at different positions like scientific researcher, software engineer, lecturer/teacher, police officer/ personel, While others do the cultivation.
It is around 30 Kms from Bhadrak railwaystation in a direction towards Anandapur,Keonjhar. Starting the journey from Bhadrak one should get down at ORALI and then pick up a bus/taxi towards Salania which is the nearer market to this village. The reverse way can be adopted from Anandapur.
A local cultural meet during Makar Sankranti ,in the name of Bhatiashuni mela, binds the nearby villagers in a single string .

  • Here there is a big Festival starts from January 14th of every year .Thisfestival is known as Makara Mela.In this festival People from near & far villages,from outsides comes here to see this Festival.It is also known as Bhatiasuni Mela.Here the Goddess Maa Bhatiasuni is being worshiped .Mother Bhatiasuni is believed by all,Because She listens all her sons sorrws. In this Festival all the people enjoys ,Co-operating to all & all live as a Family.

  • This is my village.My village is a beautifull place where you can enjoy the narture.There is a big pond also which is help to make the beatifull nature in my village.So many people are state govt job and some the people are software engineer and one person is scientist and some woking as leacture also.@utkal nayak
