Jinarajadasa Hockey Stadium (Madanapalle)

This is the birth place of Hockey for entire south India, this is constructed by the donation of Rs.250/- by Raja Jinarajadasa in 1915.
This is the only ground in South India where Hockey Legend DhyanChand played, and taught skills of Hockey to the players of Madanapalle.
Now this stadium is maintained by Besant Theosophical College and Madanapalle Hockey Club.
This is the place where Andhra Pradesh Hockey Association founded 50 years back, Madanapalle Hockey Club is foremost Hockey club in Andhra Pradesh.
This is the stadium where Trilokekar Gold Cup conducted every year and most prestigeous south indian teams were participate.
Trilokekar the first Principal of Besant Theosophical College who came from Bombay, started playing hockey in this ground. In memory of him Trilokekar Gold Cup Hockey Tournment conducted every year.
