Once upon a time a Pope was sailing from Byzantine (Constantinople), to Italy. His Ship was sank and he saved him self by swimming to the near by Cape. Because his life was saved he build a Church, and the people of Ikaria named the Cape after his name. Cape Pope, (Cavo Papa).
