  • I have recently read several references to Ikaria's people being some of the world's healthiest and longest-lived due to their exceedingly healthy, traditional Mediterranean diet. Anyone visiting there might note that what the natives themselves eat is about as exact an opposite of the standard American fast-food diet as you can get.
