  • It is my moms house ellumpuram, I spend my childhood here, calm & quite place. tourist place like alunkapara, kalipara (Mount Horeb) is here, where we had a small gathering here in my childhood. If we stand on the top of this place u can see the good view of alapuzha, ernakulam, ilaveezhapoonchira, kozhipoovan mala. it is a nice place for trecking.

  • Ellumpuram is not a village,it place situated in two villages viz, muttom in Idukki dist and melukavu in kottayam Dist. The people of that place is mostly poor csi christians and a church in the name of st. mathias is there and an Lp. school is also.It is a hilly area and most of the areas r not suitable for cultivation but people have small ruber plantations
