Shutes Branch Mountain Bike Trail is situated on an old Army Corps of Engineers campground. It's friendly to mountain bikes, dog walkers, trail runners & hikers.
The just under eight miles of trail feature 15 connectors (marked by posts with engraved letters starting at A and ending at N) to a paved loop of road that take you back to the parking area -- making it nice to jump from section to section of trail, bail out of the trail early, or work on certain areas without having to ride the entire trail to get where you want.
The trail is a good mix of technical rock gardens, fast downhills, and some nice rhythm sections. Think Lock 4 meets Hamilton Creek. It's a great trail. Come on out and enjoy it!
