This is the Mercedes gold mine which began production in late 2011 and is 100% owned by Yamana Gold. Ore is treated in a 1,500 tonnes per day plant that incorporates agitated leaching, counter current decantation and the Merrill-Crowe process. The Mineral reserves at the Mercedes operations consist of open pit and underground Mineral Reserves. The underground Mineral Reserves are being exploited in three separate underground mines and the ore is being processed for the recovery of gold and silver.
This boundary does not show the full concession area but rather only encompasses the 3 major mining areas. The actual concession is much larger than this area.
