Tiger Meadows is a large meadow in the Colville National Forest which has been managed as rangeland since 1942. In 1963, 284 acres were fenced off in three allotments for rest-rotation grazing where one allotment is rested each year. Before 1942 when the meadows were acquired by the National Forest Service, Tiger Meadows was the site of an early homestead.
