Big Meadow Lake

Big Meadow Lake is a lake in the Colville National Forest of about 72 acres. A campground is located on the southwestern shore, and a hiking trail runs around the lake. It is popular with anglers and for viewing wildlife including moose and loons. The lake was originally only four acres in size, but was dammed in the 1970's, enlarging it to its current size of 72 acres. The lake is very shallow, and feeds Meadow Creek, which runs west to feed into the South Fork of Deep Creek.
