Here lie 2 identical Funiculars, one above Cliff road running to Bennet road and another running from below Cliff road down to a private boathouse. Nothing more is known about this funicular or why and when it was built, though we suspect it has something to do with the Woodcot Estate (also previously known as Woodville and Woodwell) as it runs through their property. The wagon or passenger cabin (open air) can be seen today from the top of cliff road down on the lower section (recently become heavily overgrown) and is made of iron with wooden benches - the iron has been crafted to look ornate indicating this funicular was of some importance at some stage. The drive mechanism or power source for this funicular is also a mystery, no cables are visible and there is also no evidence of eletricification.

Any further information would be appreciated.
