Historic plantation house dating originally to about 1795, with three additions since. It was built for Josiah Ryland on originally 160 acres and was expanded to over 1,500 acres by his death. It has been continuously been occupied by members of the Ryland side of the Sizer family since being built.
The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was restored in 1990 by Duggins & Associates.
