The Triumphal Arch, travertine adorn the presbytery. It was carved shortly after 1425 by the will of Joan Alidosi, which caused him to raise after her husband's death Brancaleoni Bartholomew, along with the Mausoleum dedicated to these, now walled up on the back wall of the church.
The arch, which went to overlap with the previous one, is the work of the Venetian masters. End of a sculptor is the realization of the two statues of Carrara marble depicting St. Francis of Assisi and St. Bonaventure, resting on the two shelves above the capitals. The bas-relief tile in the center of the arch bears the arms of Bartolomeo Brancaleoni, depicting a lion rampant. A fresco of a popular local artist adorns the left wall of the chancel, where Saint Augustine observes in his pontifical vestments; it comes from the parish of St. Michael the Archangel Bovona or Valbona Valley, and is dated to the beginning of the sixteenth century.
