Korean Hornbeam Tree at Chamseongdan is estimated to be around 150 years old. It has the typical appearance of a shrub, and its upper part is elegant and well-balanced. Standing alone in Chamseongdan, this tree is regarded as the largest and most beautiful example of its species. This tree is the first tree designated as a cultural asset in 2009.
