Cathedral in Madrasa was functioning Armenian Apostolic church (1781-1988) and notable school (1801-1920). Before the 1988, village of Madrasa had Armenian population. After the Armenian massacres, the cathedral was plundered and its belfry carriing construction inscriptions in Armenian was halfly destroyed. Now this church local Azeris name as "Caucasian Albanian" along with all another Armenian churches of today's Azerbaijan and even Armenia...
