The Korean Bell Garden project was opened in Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in 2010. A collaboration between the Northern Virginia Regional Parks Authority and Korean American Cultural Committee, the Bell Garden consists of replicas of important ancient Korean monuments, stone structures, artworks with Korean symbols, and the aforementioned Korean bell. The bell, known as the Bell of Peace and Harmony, was handmade in South Korea and installed by Korean artisans in the center of an intricate wooden pavilion.
