In the chapel Alavolini (second right) Giovanni Giacomo Pandolfi realized the three frescoes on the ceiling and side walls are two paintings: "The birth of John the Baptist" and "The Beheading of John the Baptist (1628). The canvas of the central altar with" The Birth John the Baptist "(1782) by Sebastiano Ceccarini replaces the" Saint John at the source "by Guercino was stolen in the Napoleonic period (now in the Museum of Montpellier).
