North Wall Beach (South Park Beach) is an un-patrolled surf beach. Dogs may be exercised off-leash along the entire length of this beach, between the northern breakwater of the harbour and the mouth of Coffs Creek. Access is via Orlando Street (limited, free street parking, with a short walk along a path to beach) or via Marina Drive (designated free lot with limited spaces). While NOT officially part of the designated off-leash area, the tidal banks on the south side of Coffs Creek, east from the rail bridge to the mouth of the creek, is seen by locals as a natural extension of the off-leash exercise area. This particular area is popular with families (with dogs) during the long summer season.
