Farneta is a small fraction of Acqualagna located in a hilly area on the left bank of the Candigliano, at 415 m altitude. It is accessed from Route Fangacci, combining Acqualagna Urbania.
Around the Church and the Castle of San Paterniano Montefeltro fifteenth century there are some homes.
At 400 m from San Paterniano is the Church of St. John and nearby some small groups of houses, even of recent construction.
