The villa is a beautiful noble residence which is located about a mile upstream from the inhabited center of Fermignanoo (PU), so called because it was built in an area surrounded on three sides by the River Metaurus.
It is believed that in this building, the property of the Bonaventure accounts, Torquato Tasso, in August 1578, he conceived and wrote the three rooms the incomplete "Song to Metaurus."
