ruins, bridge, stone bridge, arch bridge
Two remaining stone arch spans of the Potomac Aqueduct Bridge at the northern abutment. Under the north span is the end of Water Street serving the Washington Canoe Club, as well as the end of the Capital Crescent Trail. The south span is used as storage for the Potomac Boat Club.
The bridge first carried the Alexandria Canal over the Potomac. The bridge, which later carried trolleys of the Washington and Old Dominion Railroad, pedestrians and automobiles, was demolished after construction of the Key Bridge.
