townhouses, Greek Revival (architecture), 1840s construction

A trio of 3-story Greek-revival residential buildings completed together in 1847. At Nos. 339 and 341, the entranceways, adjacent to each other, share a common stoop and an interesting unbroken lintel with dentiled molding and cornice above. The facades are clad in orange brick above stone basements. The sheet metal cornices on the window lintels were added later. All three residences are handsomely crowned by a continuous, crisply detailed, dentiled cornice which unifies the row architecturally.
