A row of five 3-story Greek-revival residential buildings completed together in 1846. They are all clad in red brick above rusticated brownstone basements. No. 46 has had its stoop replaced with a basement entrance. Each house has simple stone window lintels, crowned at Nos. 42 and,44 by small cornices. Nos. 46-50 have simple wood roof cornices set at approximately the same height. The cornice at No. 42 is similar, but with a deep fascia board into which three low rectangular windows have been cut. No. 44 has an elaborate bracketed cornice in the Neo-Grec style of the 1870s.
