3-story Equinox gym designed in 2001 by Platt Byard Dovell White Architects. It replaced the 2-story Art Greenwich Twin Cinema, built in 1936. The new building is a glass box with an overlying orange brick facade. The roofline is capped by a metal and glass parapet.

Equinox is one of the ritziest gyms around, with a glass-walled street-level lounge, vaulted ceilings, chandeliered locker rooms, a boxing studio and a hidden pool. In 2009, residents and politicians battled successfully to have the company remove advertising wraps covering the building's facade.
