2-story commercial building completed in 1922. Designed by Louis A. Sheinart, it occupies the corner at the intersection of Waverly Place. Clad in brown brick, it has large triple windows along the 2nd floor. A low brick parapet crowns the building, with a low pediment at the center of the long side. The upper floor is occupied by The Village Vanguard, one of the world's most important jazz clubs. The ground floor is occupied by Spa Jolie, Rivoli Pizza, and Laser Center.
