Development began in 1964 withe the first Rec Center, municipal swimming pool, and the current high school baseball field, with two softball fields built in 1969. Today Arab City Park includes a lighted walking trail and a concrete sidewalk that circles the entire park grounds. Seven baseball and three softball fields, seven tennis courts, pee-wee football field, multi purpose arena, and the municipal swimming pool,. A pond, complete with pier,, an amphitheater . The park also host Christmas in the park.
