At present, there are eight tigers in 148sqkm Tipeshwar in Yavatmal district. It includes dominant 'Star' male with two families of tigresses. The male is so called because of star on its forehead. One tigress has two cubs and another has three female cubs. "Unconfirmed reports from field staff say male has also mated with another tigress,".
