  • I was from the earlier trainee teachers from 1969-70. It is worth mentioning that the Principal was the last British Educator-JE Todd. In addition there were several others from the US Peace Corps, CUSO, Australian Volunteers. I left teaching for further studies in the university and after graduation worked for the Distance Learning Program. However this was short-lived. Rest of my working career was in the private sector. Majority of my course mates jjoined several local universities and were successful on their own careers-professors, lawyers, principals and senior government servants. Life in Gaya College was then superb. abakar5009@gmail.com
