A pair of 3-story Greek-revival residential buildings completed together in 1845 as part of a row of 8 rowhouses, which once extended to Sixth Avenue. Both have their original stoops, iron handrailings, and dentiled roof cornices. Both are also painted bright red, and span three bays. The delicate cornices over the window lintels at No. 113 have been retained. No. 111 is particularly well preserved, since it remained until 1938 in the ownership of the same family. It has its original wood door enframement with its pilastered sidelights and transom above. Also notable is a cast iron balcony at first floor level of most unusual Greek design. The basement level of No. 113 is occupied by Spain restaurant.
