In 2010, a portion of the site was purchased by International housebuilder Taylor Wimpey, who are building a selection of homes on the site. The remainder is now known as Lyons Park.

In 2012 the Browns Lane Jaguar Heritage Museum was also demolished. The housing estate which now takes its place is known as "Swallow's Nest".

A new business park has now been built on the old Browns Lane Plant site called "Lyons Business Park". Access to this site is from Coundon Wedge Drive.
