2-story Federal-style residential building completed in 1827. It was remodeled into an artist's studio in 1893 for Robert Blum, according to the designs of Carrere & Hastings. Its handsome doorway has a pair of slender Doric columns set in front of wood rustications. An elaborate transom bar with convex (pulvinated) frieze is blocked forward to receive the tops of these columns. The long glass transom has simple leaded tracery. Crowning the whole and extending over the door is a studded cornice of later date. The vertical studio window is tripartite and includes a glazed double door with wrought iron railing.
