Historic house, now part of Colorado College and used for faculty/staff housing.

Built in 1918 by Clarence P. Dodge. Purchased by Clarence C. Hamlin in 1923.

Clarence P. Dodge was the owner of the Colorado Springs Gazette newspaper, which he purchased in 1902. He briefly also owned the Colorado Springs Evening Telegraph, but sold it to Hamlin in 1903. In 1923 he sold Hamlin the Gazette as well (along with his house). Hamlin combined the two newspapers to form the Gazette-Telegraph (today known again simply as The Gazette).
