The Colorado College is a private liberal arts college that was founded in 1874.

It's one of only two US colleges to follow an academic schedule known as the "block plan." Students attend one class, or "block," at a time and each block lasts 3 and a half weeks. There are eight blocks in an academic year. This system was introduced in the 1970s.

  • Seems to me that the boundaries of the College have to be revised outward... most notably to include the new Cornerstone Building on the southeast corner of Cascade and Cache.
