Opened in 1972 under Baltino Foods with Baltino Foods being sold to Ore-Ida Foods in 1977, this plant was renamed Foodways National under parent company H.J. Heinz. Despite being wholly owned by the company, the plant wasn't affected under the major consolidations following Heinz's merger with Kraft Foods Group in 2015.
