Originally constructed in 1915 for Tharinger Macaroni, the four story building was renovated into 36 loft apartments in 2012. Tharinger, maker of White Pearl brand macaroni, was sold V. La Rosa & Sons in 1959 and was subsequently acquired in 1983 by Archer Daniels Midland who closed down the factory. It was later occupied Safeway a maker of cleaning chemicals.
