Harambee is a predominately black neighborhood located just north of Downtown and west of Riverwest. It is home to a diverse mix of businesses and residential housing.

  • scary place,lots of crime here.
  • I never found Harambee to be scary, but then I'm really only familiar with the areas along North Avenue and MLK. True, some of the commercial buildings are run down, but few are unoccupied. Note that "Mee" left a similar comment on the main tag for the City of Milwaukee. Nice.
