house, townhomes, TV location
Built in 1908, "Kurrajong" was the home of J.J. Miller, an Australian expat who made a fortune in the Vancouver real estate market.
Kurrajong cost $30,000 to build in 1908—more than many of the homes in the Shaughnessy area—and boasted five fireplaces, drawing room, library, conservatory, and a darkroom.
Its listing as a Heritage Class A Building saved it from the wrecking ball and it was redeveloped by VHL Group into a collection of 16 townhouses & coach house. Completed 2001.
The house can be seen throughout the The X Files episode "Emily" (Season 5, Episode 7).
