Nestling at the heart of a Georgian village setting, Southwell Minster is the best kept secret among the forty-two English Cathedrals—though every year more and more people are discovering, to their delight, this Cathedral and Parish Church.

In 1947 Sir Nikolaus Pevsner produced his book The Leaves of Southwell. It has recently been reprinted and many people come from all over the world to see the magnificent Chapter House—‘among chapter houses as the rose among flowers’ is one memorable description of it!
A Grade I listed building.
