Former headquarters of the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks designed c. 1925 in the Renaissance Revival style by McKim, Mead & White. The clubhouse featured meeting spaces, 200 dorm rooms, a ballroom, Turkish bath, and bowling alleys, a swimming pool, and other amenities. In 1940, it was taken over by the New York Board of Education. New York City sold the building to Two Trees Management in 2003 who undertook a restoration by Beyer Blinder Belle.

The exterior was used as a filming location for White Collar S01 E09 "Bad Judgement" where Peter speaks to Herrera about Judge Clark.
