This colony comprises of 12 houses accommodating more than 15 families. At the entrance to the colony, there is a beautiful ‘Datta Mandir’ having idols of Shri Datta, Ganapati, Hanuman and Santoshi Mata. All the original colony members belong to Brahmin community. The population is approximately 70.Nearly 78% of the population is of Brahmins having ‘Pandit’ as their surname, 12 % are ‘Rane’, and rest 10% are ‘Pande’.Most of the Brahmins perform rituals in continuation to their ancient tradition.
