Tangella Nagaiah Chetty, who was doing business in manufaturing handloom dhothies and lungies. During my childhood, my younger brother and I were staying with our grandfather's family in Palamangalam. We used to walk in the rice fields and also learned swimming from our uncles. We would jump into the large dug wells and play games with our friends while swimming. We also enjoyed eating lot of mangoes. It was and still is a nice village.
