Prince Edward Square is a 165,383 sq. ft. enclosed mall opened in 1973. The original tenants included, Towers, IGA, Shoppers Drug Mart and NB Liquor. Almost immediately the mall experienced strong competition with the building of nearby Brunswick Square in 1978 and Market Square in 1983.

Over time the tenant composition changed. The IGA became a Save Easy and Towers became Zellers in 1991. Later Zellers became a call centre for Wyndham hotels when Zellers closed to move to a vacant K Mart location and Giant Tiger took over Save Easy in 2005.
Present tenants include;
- Nordia Call Center
- Giant Tiger
- Lotto Booth
- Dollarama
- Guardian Pharmacy
- H&R Block
